In accordance with the Turkish Travel Agencies Law No. 1618 travel agencies can be established upon the issue of an operation licence by the Ministry of Tourism and are obliged to become a member of TURSAB in order to be able to conduct travel agency bussiness,

In order to provide travel services within Turkey; Law No.1618 requires to be an official travel agency.

It is forbidden to operate package tours without a Tursab (Turkish Travel Agencies Association) license and illegal operations are subject to severe punishments.
