Dear Murat--we are back home--but filled with wonderful memories of your magnificent country! We can't thank you enough for the

terrific arrangements you made for us that made the trip so special--thank you!

It was lovely too to get to spend time with you and Pinar --I hope that we inspired you to visit California and that some day soon we will be able to return your

hospitality. We had a lovely lunch and visit our last day in Istanbul with Ahu . She is a gem --and seems interested in visiting Lux when she comes to the States next month. Thank you very much for that introduction--I think it will turn out to be a valuable one for us both. Rest assured that all of our friends that express an interest in visiting Turkey will be told who to call!!

with all best regards--Reesey

Dear Asli, I would like to thank you so much for your arrangements for this trip. We spent six amazing days in Istanbul when we arrived and had our conference at Bosphorous University… We then went to Cappadocia and we both agreed that this was the visit and area we loved the most, in fact we
would have quite liked to have spent more time there. It was an amazing experience, very spiritual and mystical place. We really enjoyed the prearranged hot air ballooning with Mike Green an outstanding pilot. We totally loved the Argos, what an outstanding place with friendly and helpful
staff. Izmael, the guide arranged to take us around was outstanding, the best we have encountered
anywhere. We were sad to leave…One of the most outstanding things for me in Turkey was the food, it is delicious and sooo fresh!!... I also really enjoyed the fact that Turkey has retained so much of its arts and craft in all of its wonderful diversity and history. I enjoyed the historical side of things, it challenged me hearing about the world through the eyes of the Turkish people…
All in all, your arrangements were fabulous and we really appreciated the attention to details. Best wishes in the meantime and do say a big hi to the others from us:)

Hi Murat.

This past June, my husband and I travelled through Turkey for 4 weeks with the assistance of Travel Atelier. This was our first experience with a travel agency, and we were not sure of what to expect. Selecting your agency to coordinate our trip was the best decision! From the day that I first inquired to the day we departed Turkey, Alkan provided impeccable service. He was always readily available to answer my numerous questions as we developed our personalized itinerary. Once we arrived in Turkey, Alkan was our constant host, making sure that our trip progressed without a hitch! I knew he was always tracking our travel and managing our transitions, and it was a delight when we actually met him when our travels brought us to Cappadocia. It was like meeting an old friend! He went above and beyond, and is clearly dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for his clients. We had an amazing 4 weeks in your gorgeous, hospitable country. Our trip was enriched by the wonderful guides, drivers and hotels that were arranged for us. We can't wait to return one day! We greatly appreciate Alkan and Travel Atelier, and highly recommend your services to anybody traveling to Turkey.

Hello Alkan! I can't believe it has been two months since we returned from Turkey. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to write to you and your boss (see below), to thank you for making our trip an amazing experience. We tell all of our friends about Alkan, who was always looking out for us! One of our fondest memories is the day that you took us for the hike through Rose Valley. Thank you so much for your dedication and generosity.

Hope you are well, and please consider visiting San Francisco someday! We promise to drive you to the airport ;)

Dear Murat,

Excellent!! Our tour of Ephesus lived up to everything my husband and I experienced with your Cappadocia tour last year and far surpassed the tour my husband and I arranged in Ephesus last year.

Everyone thought that our guide in Ephesus was the best of all the guides we had on our 10 days of touring. Unfortunately, I can't remember the correct spelling of his name. The lunch was great!! It gave everyone an opportunity to experience local cuisine, which can be difficult when you are only in port for a day and you are trying to squeeze so much in. Your company is the only company we have used that includes lunch with the tour; definitely a big plus. Although no purchases were made, everyone enjoyed learning about how rugs are made and experiencing Turkish hospitality of tea, Turkish coffee, rocket and or wine.

Thank you for arranging such a great tour and following-up.

Best regards,

Karen

We are home safe and sound...and missing Turkey already! Thank you SOOOO MUCH for your assistance during this holiday. You were such a wonderful resource, and I am so very happy we could meet. It was interesting receiving all of the correspondance from Rachel during the year, but not knowing who exactly you were. So glad we all could have dinner together.
I will definitely recommend your agency to any friends/family traveling to Turkey. You have an amazing service, wonderful recommendations, and are so very kind. I hope we all can meet again one day.
God bless you!

Dear Alkan

How are you ?

We just wanted to thank you for arranging a wonderful holiday for us. We really enjoyed our visit and your itinerary showed us the rich culture and heritage of Turkey.

In retrospect my family would have like a few more days by the sea. The hotel and location in Bodrum was just wonderful. But then again we also enjoyed the cave hotel and the mountain village. If we are honest with you we didn't enjoy Istanbul that much, it's very much like any other big city.

We shall remember our visit to Turkey and all the wonderful people that we meet, especially you.

As we said if you ever find yourself in the Netherlands please do not hesitate to contact us. There will always be a warm welcome waiting for you and your wife (to be).

Keep in touch.

Take care & thank you from everything.

Dear Alkan,

I am writing to thank you for arranging our trip to Turkey. My daughter and I really did have our "dream vacation" and created memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. We are already contemplating our next trip! The arrangements you made for our transportation, guides and hotels were outstanding, and you gave us terrific advice as to which activities and sites to consider. It was wonderful to meet you when we were in Cappadocia, and we appreciated your "check-ins" with us along the way. It was reassuring to know we could count on you and all of our drivers, guides, and hotels.

Dear Alkan,

We are now back in Ahmedabad, India after one of our most exhilarating holidays ever. We were in turkey for a little less than 2 weeks and thanks to you we had a fabulous vacation. At the outset we had informed you that we wanted to have a feel and taste of Turkish culture on our holiday and we exactly got that and a bit more. I must really thank you and your co-workers at Travel atelier and Proper travels for organising our trip so perfectly. It was organised to the minutest detail to our satisfaction. I have travelled quite extensively using quite a few different travel agents but I must admit you lavished on us the most perfect personal care. That phone call every evening making sure that our day had gone on well and that the next day was to our requirements was most appreciated. All our hotels were really good with the one in Cappadoccia (Argos in Cappadoccia) really the icing on the cake. Our hotel in Istanbul had a bit smaller rooms and the staff did not understand English at all but one could not fault its location being close to all the important sights. All our tour guides including Farooq(Istanbul), Ismail(Cappadoccia) and Oguz(Ephesus & Pammukale) were extremely polite, knowledgeable and patient. They answered our numerous queries, even the silly ones with great patience and respect. They organised the most amazing lunches for us so that we have a taste of true Turkish cuisine. The lunch in Avanos with Ismail and the dinner at Ziggys with Alkan are really part of our cherished memories. I am sure we will remember these for the rest of our lives. All our transfers and flights within turkey were organised with Swiss timing. Not once did we have to wait for our cars to pick us up either at the hotels or any of the three airports that we flew in and out of. They were there ready and waiting to take us to our destinations in great comfort and style. All vehicles had cold drinks and snacks available to us on demand which a really appreciated. The drivers were very safe and courteous and did not let us even pick up our hand luggage. Really your choice of vehicles, people and hotels was most impressive. Oh and our hot air ballooning experience in Cappadoccia was great. The royal ballooning crew really treated us like royalty. We had the most fantastic views over the Cappadoccia region. What an experience! The Balloons and the crew were in top conditions and we felt very safe. We even got medals for completing our ballooning trip. We have some fantastic photos from the ballons. I cannot stop drooling about our Gullet(Turkish Yatch) trip yet. The 3 day mini cruise was fantastic. The Boat was certainly not to our expectations and Barbaros Yatching has a lot to answer for. It was in bad shape. They have much nicer and luxurious boats but the one provided to us was rubbish. The Cabins were really small, we did not mind that but the bathrooms did not work in some of the cabins and the boat broke down on the last day so we missed out our last excursion on Seder island and Cleopatra's beach. We were looking forward to that one. But whatever we did see was out of this world. The crystal clear turquoise blue water, the serene and green bays where we anchored are going to be memories of a lifetime. The captain and crew were superb but did not understand much English. We were lucky to have a Turkish couple with us to act as our translators. The food on the boat was reasonably good but they could have a bit more variety for vegetarians in the evening. But all in all I think the blue cruise was superb and we had this wonderful experience of meeting so many different people. I would strongly suggest you should write to Barbaros Yatching regarding the state of the boat and maybe research if better cabin charters are available for future visitors. Also the blue cruise is really an experience of a lifetime and is a must for any visitor to turkey who loves the sea.

Once again we thank you from the bottom of our heart for arranging our trip so well. I am sure many of our friends would want to deal with you in future and I will have no hesitation in recommending you to organise their trip. Alkan if you do visit India we would very much like to see you and give you a taste of our Indian culture. I hope to make another trip to Turkey i the future and I am sure you will be hearing about it whenever that happens.

with regards

I am writing to you to thank you for all your services during our wonderful trip to Turkey!  Everything was done perfectly and professionally.  I was referred to you by friends of ours, who said your company was fantastic, and they were right!  Not only did you help us plan the perfect agenda, but helped us select the perfect accommodations, and found us the most affordable intra-Turkey flights that allowed us to get in everything we did.  Istanbul was beautiful to see, but I must say the highlight of the trip was the Cappadocia region.  The cave hotel Esbelli Evi had the most outstanding service, was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and my boys (ages 12 and 14) said it is their favorite hotel they have ever stayed in.  All our guides were great, again, the guide in Cappadocia being one of our favorite guides for any vacation or activity we have ever done.  Thank you for everything!

Thank you so much for arranging a wonderful tour for us in Turkey.  It truly was a first class experience, from start to finish!  We especially appreciated our guides--Murat was unbelievably knowledgeable, with a warm personality and great attitude.  We learned so much from him and totally enjoyed his company.  He even got Steven to hike those unbelievably beautiful Cappadocia Valleys - That is an accomplishment!   Pervin became one with us.  Steven says she is like my sister and I believe he is right.  She is one strong, smart lady with a terrific sense of humor and a determined demeanor.  She really got things done!  I hope to see her in NY one day----- or go back to Turkey for her wedding --(but first we need to find her a man!).  You and Pinar really know how to put a trip together.  We were lucky to find you.  Of course, our only regret is that we could not thank you in person!

Anthony and I have returned to England after enjoying a week's holiday in Turkey.  Our holiday experience was excellent and I think a great deal of thanks needs to go to Sonay for this.  In addiiton to suggesting possible destinations, once these were decided Sonay proved herself to be very organised and professional in her approach to organising our itinery. We were lucky enough to meet Sonay as she was our guide for the day in Cappadocia.  Anthony and I had a wonderful day and our experience was made better because Sonay frequently checked to ensure that the itinery suited us, was very knowledgeable on the historical facts for the area and had a very pleasant manner.  We both felt that Sonay was very genuine in her desire to ensure that we had a good holiday experience in turkey. In addition to thanking Sonay personally I wanted you to know how impressed we were with her.  I will have no hesitation in recommending your company to friends and colleagues in England.

Sent: Tuesday, November 11, 2008 3:03 PM - Cambodia

The priest told us at our wedding ritual that we’ve been sent to each other by God. If that is the case (which we have no doubt it is), then so were Murat and Pinar god-sent to us. Being an Asian-European couple, it was our dream to marry in the city of Istanbul. We took the brave decision to go ahead with the idea, but the prospect of organizing it from Cambodia where we live, seemed rather daunting. Until we found them, who turned out to be most reliable, responsible and at the same time friendliest wedding coordinators in Turkey. Every couple wants to have the special and best possible for their wedding and Murat and Pinar’s “project-wise”, personalized work admirably patiently accommodated our endlessly changing demands for the best. Every time we email a question on minute details or a request based on spontaneous ideas (which was almost every day during the three months of preparation), they would reply with assuring “No problem”, “It can be done”, and “That’s why you’re working with us.” They are indeed well acquainted with all the necessary procedures, and searched for well-suited venues throughout Istanbul. Not being based there was not a problem for this mobile, flexible couple at all. Thanks to all the good organization and information provided by them, we were well equipped with good knowledge and proper expectations by the time we arrived one week prior to our big day. Of course we made last minute changes – which were again well absorbed by our dear Murat and Pinar, always with such energy and smiles. By the end of all that, we have not only accomplished our dream wedding, but also have earned very special friends in Turkey.   Thank you Murat and Pinar once again!
