GULET is a special type of Turkish yacht which is traditionally wood built and very
suitable for charter in the Aegean and Mediterranean, as they have spacious deck
space for outdoor living and sunbathing. Sizes change between 15 and 33 meters in
length and they can host 6 - 24 persons in separate double cabins with en-suite WC/showers.
The crew consist of 2 - 5, captain, cook-seaman and deckhands. Serving, cooking and
cleaning are also done by the crew.
A gullet can be rented privately. On private yacht charters; there is no fixed itinerary
and it is possible to board or leave the yacht in any harbour.
Prices of private yacht charters vary depending on the yacht and the month.
Usual practice is renting the yacht for a week and usually you receive the week prices,
however there might be some periods you could charter the yacht for less than a week...

CABIN CHARTER
An alternative to chartering the yacht privately is to join one of the regular departures
and book a cabin. Your floating home will be 18/24 meters (55-74 feet) long, 5/8
double cabins with en suite toilette and shower. It is not possible to book a specific
yacht on cabin charters since the size of the yacht would change according to the
number of guests booked on board for a specific period. The departure dates are also
set. Sailing, snorkeling, fishing, sunbathing are some of the activities on board.
Breakfast, lunch & dinner will be served by your cook; you just enjoy your cruise
holiday have a chance to meet people from around the world.
Cabin Charter holidays are great fun for some travelers and some really don’t enjoy
it. It all depends on the expectations of the traveler. If you happen to be with
a like-minded group of travelers, it can be great fun and interesting. However, it
can be a bit of a problem if you are with a certain type of crowd who don’t necessarily
share your understanding of a holiday since you’ll live in a limited space and limited
privacy. In that sense you may call it a Russian Roulette.
Please note that; our specialty is actually private charters where we know everything
almost inside out and do our best so that nothing goes wrong. Due to price factor,
cabin charters are on a bigger demand and yes, we also offer cabin charter cruises
to our guests.
We try to distinguish cabin charters with time of the year, route and with the company
we choose. We do not have a control over the operations, but we do extensive correspondences
so our guests are looked after well and they are allocated on better gullets with
possibly better crowds(usually there is more than one departure at a time).
